Exploring Pedagogies of Transition in the light of an Ecological Ethic of Care : a five-branch path The conference illustrates five learning practices related to the ecological transition and the ethic of care : 1. Social-emotional ecological learning: this teaching practice is based on placing the learner at the core of the learning process, linking the sensory, affective and cognitive dimensions (perceptions, emotions and knowledge), moving away from the rigid roles of teacher and learner in order to emphasize our own moving identity as earthly sentient being (social-emotional ecological learning, ECO-SEL) the work that reconnect, econarrative writing workshop 2. Regenerative learning: teaching by first cultivating joy and wonder, gratitude and loving-kindness in order to develop group cohesion and a positive attitude that nourishes hope and the capacity to take action. Inhancing outdoor education. 3. Ecological learning: developing knowledge about the natural ecosystems, becoming aware of the web of life of which we are a part, cultivating a vision that is both systemic and analytical in order to understand our role in the living world. Experiential or enactive learning: learning takes place through personal experience, theoretical teaching is always embodied in attentional practices and does not remain limited to abstraction (enactive approach, F. Transformative learning: creating a space (course, seminar, summer school or workshop) conducive to the change of our way of seeing and acting, which involves the transformation of ourselves as teachers, but also the transformation of the learners who will experience the reorganisation of their knowledge, a metamorphosis in the way we relate to ourselves, to others and to the living world.
