Résumé
By analyzing a specific moment—the publication of an anti-feminist op-ed by a national daily newspaper in 2018 in the post-#Metoo context—this article seeks to shed light on two distinct conceptions of journalistic excellence, and objectivity as a professional norm. These two conceptions, one “orthodox” and the other “critical,” coincide with different ways in which feminist ideas are taken up by journalists, and manifested themselves within the editorial staff in strong tensions when this column was published.
