Digital Twin Architecture for Ambient Assisted Living
Résumé
Our goal is to enhance the day-to-day lives of elderly and disabled individuals through the use of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) supported by a digital twin. This paper proposes an architecture for the development of a digital twin for AAL principles. We begin by introducing the concept of AAL, going through various digital twin versions, and highlighting the benefits for different users, including residents, caregivers, and technicians. Next, we describe the current AAL system and introduce a digital twin framework aligned with the ISO 23247 standard. Finally, we discuss the experiments conducted using this digital twin architecture, alongside outlining potential development paths towards a more advanced version.
