Résumé

This handbook addresses trends related to the nature and impact of digital curriculum resources (DRs) in mathematics education. The chapters in the handbook illustrate DRs’ trajectory of innovation and transformation that affects all aspects of teaching and learning in mathematics education. The COVID 19 pandemic, which happened during the creation of this handbook, reinforced the necessity of reporting on theory, design, and practice related to DRs. DRs impact student and teacher interaction, communication and engagement with, and assessment of mathematics learning. They provide different instructional design characteristics and pedagogical affordances that affect student learning. At the same time as technology is being increasingly researched, our objective has been to dig deeper into potentially transformative aspects of digital curriculum resources and technology in mathematics education as identified by current research.
