Hiking in the Alps. Ethnographies of Elementary Requalifications
Ethnographies de randonnées alpines et requalifications élémentaires
Résumé
Based on ecological and phenomenological approaches, this article examines how, in a mountain environment, the perceptive skills of hikers are displayed and reconfigured in an instrumented body-to-body encounter. It will study the plurality of material cultures involved and the exposure to the elements they generate. Ethnography will also highlight the use of elementary techniques and what they do to instrumented bodies. Through their deployment, we will analyze a requalification process of the elements emerging from perceptive learning of alpine environments.
