Contrasting Seasonal Isotopic Signatures of Near‐Surface Atmospheric Water Vapor in the Central Arctic During the MOSAiC Campaign

Résumé

The Arctic is experiencing a rapid decline of sea-ice coverage and overall alteration of atmospheric and oceanic circulation patterns (Masson-Delmotte et al., 2021). Feedback loops link changes in albedo, water vapor, cloudiness and heat fluxes resulting in an Arctic amplification of the global warming (Holland & Bitz, 2003; Serreze & Barry, 2011; Vihma et al., 2016). Local changes in the Arctic may cause extreme mid-latitude weather events
