Assessment of Educational Facilities and Administrative Effectiveness in Colleges of Education: A Case Study of Delta State

Résumé

This research aimed to assess the impact of educational facilities on administrative effectiveness within Colleges of Education. To achieve this, six research questions were formulated, and six hypotheses were proposed. The study utilized a correlational research design, The population of the study comprised 2,925 staff of the public colleges of education across Delta State and a sample of 800 administrative staff from Colleges of Education in Delta State was randomly selected. Questionnaires and checklists were employed as data collection instruments and were validated by experts in Measurement and Evaluation. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the gathered data. Mean, standard deviation and Pearson coefficient of determination were used to address the research questions, while t-test and simple regression were employed to test the hypotheses at a significance level of 0.05.
