Global Sensitivity Analysis of Power Systems Components -Markov Reliability Models

Markov models are often used to describe the behaviors of power systems and components -like generating units, transformers and others -which show stochastic behaviors due to failure occurrences, environmental and operational conditions. In this paper, Global Sensitivity Analysis techniques are applied to consider the simultaneous effect of transition rates (TR) variations on the state probabilities (PS). Importance measures are determined for steady-state and transient probabilities for a multi-state generating uni
