Urban Agriculture Food Production: Consumer’s preference, and willingness to pay.

Résumé

Urban agriculture is an innovative way of farming that can provide fresh and locally grown produce for people living in cities. It can also promote biodiversity in urban areas. As more consumers become interested in the produce grown on urban farms, it is essential to understand their preferences and the reasons behind their demand. This paper aims to explore how French consumers' willingness to pay for food is affected by production methods, such as urban farming techniques. We will also look at other factors that indicate consumers' perceptions and knowledge of urban agriculture, based on data obtained from a survey with a sample of French consumers.
