Modeling and simulation of (visco)-plastic behavior of wood under moisture change
Résumé
The aim of the present study is to propose a (visco)-plastic model based on overstress in order to analyze drying
and wetting processes for wood. The model must be simple and it may be implemented in a finite element
program. The influence moisture rate changes on the development of internal stresses in a wood-like material and
the effect of varying the mechanical properties of this material as function of changing moisture content were
investigated.
