Anosognosie et vécu des professionnels du soin dans le cadre de la maladie d’Alzheimer, une revue de la littérature
Résumé
This scoping review provides an overview of current knowledge concerning the impact of anosognosia on the daily lives of healthcare professionals in the context of neuro-progressive diseases. The review was based on Aksey & O'malley's 5-steps model (1). The articles analyzed were selected following search equation: "Anosognosia or lack of insight or impaired awareness" AND "Alzheimer's disease or dementia" AND "Professional caregivers or nurses’ burden". The equation was carried out in English, French and Spanish on various databases: PsycINFO, PubMed, Medline, Google Scholar, Research Gate, Cairn. 4 articles met the inclusion criteria. If a consensus seems to be emerging concerning the impact of anosognosia on professional caregivers’ burden, there is still very few information on how anosognosia catalyzes these difficulties. This suggests that further research is needed to determine the mechanisms by which anosognosia may cause difficulties in the caregiving relationship.
