Résumé

This chapter intends to study the representation and conceptualization of immigration in far-right political discourse in France. This corpus analysis aims to identify, with the help of linguistic software tools, the way migrants were depicted in Marine Le Pen’s speeches between 2015 and 2019, as well as the rhetorical strategies she implemented, and to compare them to those used in Emmanuel Macron’s speeches. The first part presents the political context, the corpus and the methodology. In the second part, the results of the textometric analysis of the corpus are developed. Finally, the third part consists in the analysis of the semantic domains of the corpus.
