Correlation between anticholinergic and sedative drug burden and Mini-Mental State Examination

Résumé

Drug Burden Index (DBI) is an index to determine burden of anticholinergic and sedative medications. The increased DBI is associated with lower physical performance among elderly patients. Our objectives were to describe the characteristics of patients followed in memory center and to examine the impact of DBI on Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE)
