When Environmental protection and Human Rights collide by Marie-Catherine Petersmann
Résumé
Marie-Catherine Petersmann retraces here the evolution of the legal order for environmental protection over time, and its gradual merging with human rights concerns. This issue has led, according to the author, to a synergistic description of their relationship. In her view, however, the conflicts between environmental protection and human rights are more complex than is usually portrayed in the literature on the subject.
