(Invited) How Does Oxygen Open Up New Horizons at the Interface III-Vs/Liquid Ammonia?

Résumé

In acidic pH, after a short period of illumination, a significant increase of the cathodic current in the dark is recorded onto p -GaAs until reaching a stationary current. This “final configuration” of the interface is unique since O 2 reduction mechanism proceeds then only by holes injections. Collapse straight lines of Mott-Schottky are recorded after O 2 reduction. A dissolution of the p -GaAs is observed. As a corrosive reactant, H 2 O 2 can be also suggested in acidic NH 3 Liq.
