Reflectionless Scattering in Disordered Media: exceptional points and anti-reflection structures

Résumé

Reflectionless (RL) states that are eigenfunctions of a non-Hermitian operator enable reflectionless coupling of light to a scattering sample. Here, we first observe exceptional points of RL states obtained by tuning the scattering strength in symmetric scattering samples. Then, instead of using wavefront shaping techniques, we will show that we can design anti-reflection structures for perfect transmission through disordered medium for any incident wavefront. © 2023, META Conference.
