A kinetic formulation for multi-branch entropy solutions of scalar conservation laws

Multivalued solutions with a limited number of branches of the inviscid Burgers equation can be obtained by solving closed systems of moment equations. For this purpose, a suitable concept of entropy multivalued solutions with K branches is introduced.
On reconstruit les solutions multivoques de l’équation de Burgers sans viscosité, quand leur nombre de branches est connu a priori, en résolvant un système fermé d’équations de moments. A cet effet, on introduit un concept de solutions multivoques entropiques àK branches.
