AC magnetic circuits using non segmented shifted grain oriented electrical steel sheets: study of magnetic flux transition between sheets

Résumé

A new design of AC stator magnetic circuit using non segmented shifted grain oriented electrical steel sheets has been designed in order to reduce the iron losses and, consequently, to increase the AC machine efficiency. This paper analyses the magnetic behavior of this assembly, particularly the magnetic field transition between laminations.
