A Pioneering Career in Catalysis: Henri B. Kagan
Résumé
In this invited paper, we highlight the enormous scholarly scope of our mentor and colleague, Professor Henri B. Kagan, and the impact that his research has had on numerous fields of chemistry. It extends from the development of asymmetric oxidation, asymmetric reduction, unique features in lanthanide chemistry, issues of nonlinear effects, and the question of the origin of chirality on earth
