Vegetation History and Wood Exploitation in Pakistani Baluchistan from the Neolithic to the Harappan Period: The evidence from charcoal analysis

Résumé

Thanks to the discovery of archaeological settlements, from the eight to the second millenia B.C. a first history of the vegetation can be exposed. The results are mainly based on palaeobotanical studies (charcoal and macroremains) realised on archaeological settlements located in Baluchistan and Makran.
