Optimization of the Temperature Precision with the Ratiometric Phosphor Thermometry
Résumé
An optimization method to select the optical collection filters when using the ratiometric phosphor thermometry is presented. Results show that the optimized filter specifications are not aligned with the main emission bands of the phosphor, the relative sensitivity of the ratio piloting mainly the precision. The method enables to obtain a temperature precision being four times better than results from the literature, with an average temperature precision of 2.2% between 300 and 750K.
