This article examines the importance of emotion and stress management in decision-making during
evacuations from natural disasters (forest fires, floods) and explores different methods of preparing firefighters to
manage these stressful situations. The research focuses on the emotional and psychological challenges faced by
firefighters and affected populations, and aims to identify best practices to support resiliency and effective
emergency response.
