Wireless Energy Harvesting Performance of 2.45 GHz Rectennas Array Inside Wall
Résumé
In this paper, we analyze the impact of walls in RF energy harvesting for buried wireless sensor network applications. The main goal of this work is to quantify and minimize the energy loss by optimizing the distance between the wall and collecting antenna. The measurements presented in this paper are obtained using an array of 10 rectennas at 2.45 GHz and the material used for the wall is plasterboard. The measurement setup is presented, followed by a discussion on the observed optimum.
