Phase transition modelling for cavitation applications

Résumé

The modelling of mass transfer is a key point for cavitation applications. In this study, we compare two formulations which have been implemented in a compressible diffuse interface solver. The first one is expressed through a source term in the void ratio equation and the second one is based on relaxation process. Validation is done are various academic cases.
