French Archaeological Mission in the Indus Basin. Excavations 2022 at Chanhu-daro. Final Report.
Résumé
This internal report presents the results of the fieldwork carried out at Chanhu-daro, Shaheed Benazirabad
District, Sindh in 2022 by the French Archaeological Mission in the Indus Basin (MAFBI) in cooperation with
the Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Department, Government of Sindh, and with the collaboration of the
Department of Archaeology and Museums (DOAM), Government of Pakistan. In France, the project was
initiated and implemented through the support of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS)
- Laboratory UMR7041, Archaeology and Sciences of Antiquity, and the funding of the French Ministry of
Europe and Foreign Affairs. A financial support was also provided by the laboratory “Archaeozoology and
Archaeobotany” (UMR7209, CNRS/National Museum of Natural History) for carrying out bio-archaeological
studies.
