Résumé
If there is no detailed ekphrasis of Troy, however Troy is the subject of an important work on representing space and landscape. This representation and the landscape of Troy becomes more and more complex in the different posthomeric rewritings. Late epic is gradually separated from the epic intertextual models in order to embrace those of the Second Sophistic. This new intertextuality entails important consequences in terms of space and landscape of the city of Troy. The aim of this paper is to show how the posthomeric epic operates a paradigm shift in the representation of the city of Troy:
the concept of urban landscape in all its cultural dimension becomes the key to understanding this change of epic values and the adaptation of these values to contemporary concerns of these posthomeric authors: Troy is a malleable material that changes with the times which have their singular visions, especially at the end of Antiquity.
