Itinerary 3. Prehistoric and Historic Evolution of the Roussillon Plain: Clues from Geoarchaeology
Résumé
Itinerary 3 mostly focuses on the geologically recent evolution of the alluvial lowlands of Roussillon. The event chronology is underpinned by archaeological vestiges, principally Roman antiquity and Romanesque chapels and churches which cover ~2000 years of sedimentary dynamics across the alluvial floodplains of the Tech, Réart, Têt and Agly rivers.
