Neden bu ikilik ? Pourquoi cette dualité ? Ethnographie de la division dans un village bektachi du Taurus
Résumé
In the mountains of western Taurus, the village of Tekke Köyü (Elmalı, Antalya) is an historical center of Bektashism, due to the presence of Abdal Musa’s grave. As an ethnomusicologist, the author, since 1997, visits this place nearly each year, fascinated by the high quality of its musical tradi- tions. The music is thus the key that allowed the researcher to penetrate the ritual intimacy of the community and its institutions, re-founded after a period of clandestinity (from the 30’s to the 60’s). This article proposes a simple ethnography, showing how the “duality” (ikilik) revealed itself step by step along the years: Sunni/Alevi, Alevi/Bektashi, and in the com- munity itself, divisions producing new groups, with a final interrogation about the status of the musicians, main customers and transmitters or tradition’s contents.
