One Dimensional Axial Modelling of a Dielectric Barrier Discharge used for Gas Pollutants Removal
Résumé
Considering previous simulation models for dielectric barrier discharges (DBD) [1], [2], [3], [4] and the knowledge on their boundary conditions [5] we present a one-dimensional axial model for a double dielectric barrier discharge with flowing Helium under atmospheric pressure. The model here proposed involves the basic equations for ions and electrons and the new boundary conditions reported in [5] to couple volume densities with electrons and ions considered as surface charges in the wall of the cylindrical configuration reactor. This model is a useful tool for DBD sources design.
