Precision measurements of the magnetization and its temperature derivative of Ni and dilute Ni alloys at 290 K
Résumé
Precision measuring techniques (±5 ppm) are applied to correct μSR (muon spin rotation) data for the effect of the Lorentz field. The samples are high‐purity Ni and Ni alloys in the form of short cylinders. Some of the samples contain voids. While not a problem for μSR, it is for the measurement of magnetization. Data are presented for the magnetization and its temperature derivative of dilute alloys of Ti, V, and Cr in Ni at 290.5 K.
