A Low Noise, High Linearity DC-coupled APD Readout ASIC for Electromagnetic Calorimeter in Super Tau-charm Factory
Résumé
In this paper, we report on the recent development of a front-end readout ASIC for avalanche photodiode (APD) detectors. The readout circuits are implemented in a standard 0.18 μm mixed-signal CMOS process. The measured signal to noise ratio is larger than 6.6 with 100 nA leakage current, and nonlinear error of the slow shaper is less than 1%. The proposed ASIC is well suitable for the electromagnetic calorimeter in STCF.
