FASP and Translation Studies, a Matter of Elective Affinities
While falling within similar but distinct disciplinary fields, FASP and translation studies share a common interest in the fictional representation of professional fields of practice and professionals. As the bridges between these two fields, both between researchers and between publications, seem to be rather limited so far, with the exception of the present issue of ILCEA, the aim of this article is to bring together two distinct epistemic perspectives on one of their point of intersection, that of fiction relating to translation and translators, to highlight what they have in common, both in terms of issues and approach, but also what differentiates them.
