Résumé

The Absolute Quantum Gravimeter (AQG) is an industry-grade gravimeter measuring g with laser-cooled atoms, that has been developed by Muquans in close collaboration with RESIF (the French Seismologic and Geodetic Network, {[}2]) and the LNE-SYRTE laboratory. This paper reports on the evaluation of the first unit of the AQG and in particular on a statistical uncertainty on the measurement of g better than 1.10(-8) m/s(2) that has been reached in various types of environment and for month-long continuous measurements. The relevance of the AQG for a use in metrological laboratories is also discussed.
