Late stage modifications of phosphine oxide ligands by iron‐catalyzed hydrogen borrowing reactions
Résumé
α-Alkylation reaction involving methyldiarylphosphine oxides and (hetero)arylmethanols as the electrophilic partners can be performed using iron based catalyst under hydrogen borrowing conditions. Various (hetero)arylmethanols can be used leading to the corresponding alkyldiarylphosphine oxides with moderate to good yields. © 2022
