Résumé

In this study, various preparation methods of a flue dust sample have been compared. Methods are compared against each other using the results of ICP-OES analysis of the solubilized flue dust. To carry out this study, different methods of mineralization developed in the company were optimized. First technique is acid leaching done on a heating stirrer plate. This method uses nitric acid (65%w) or aqua regia (mix of 1 volume nitric acid 65%w and 2 volumes of hydrochloric acid 37%w). Second method is the oxidizing alkaline fusion. Sodium hydroxide is used as flux, then the oxidizing agent sodium peroxide is added to the melted sample. Third technique is the mineralization with a microwave oven. In this technique, we used the same acid as in the first technique. The results of the mineralization with a heating stirrer plate are for the copper, the lead and the zinc, respectively, in case of nitric acid 36.5 %w, 7.9 %w and 22.1 %w, while in the case of aqua regia 37.6 %w, 5.7 %/w and 22.7 %w. The mineralization using an oxidizing alkaline fusion gives 36.2 %w, 8.4 %w and 21.9 %w as results in the same order of compound. The last technique, meaning the use of a microwave oven, gives 38.7 %w, 8.4 %w and 23.4 %w with nitric acid and 39.6 %w, 8.6 %w and 23.9 %w with aqua regia. The chloride was analyzed only with a heating stirrer plate and with a microwave oven, in both cases with nitric acid, the values are very closed with 2.20 %w and 2.22 %w. In conclusion, the results obtained show that the highest results are obtained for the samples using a microwave oven. In this case, mineralization seems to be more efficiency than others. This technique makes it possible to estimate the chloride ion, copper, lead and zinc content coming from a solid matrix.
