Bulk texturing of prereacted Bi/Pb(2223) under triaxial stresses at room temperature

Résumé

The use of triaxial stresses within the high-fluid-pressure scope is proposed as a new technique for texturing at room temperature isostatically pre-compacted Bi1.8Pb0.4Sr2Ca2.2Cu3O10.3+x powder samples. Preliminary results based mainly on microscopy observations indicated that the as-deformed samples have been textured with the c-axis parallel to the pressing direction.
