Peace, Law, and the State: Federal Pacifism in the Interwar Period
In the interwar period a pacifist federalist current was born in Europe. The most important representatives were Einaudi in Italy and Lothian, Curtis and Robbins in the United Kingdom. They identified the federal link as the only instrument to overcome the contradictions of the European States System and to build peace. This ideal has led an action that is still going today.
