Equivalent continuous dynamic model of renewable energy systems

Résumé

An equivalent continuous dynamic model of a renewable generating system is proposed in this paper. The models of a variable speed wind generator and of a solar generating system are particularly detailed. It is shown that these models are interesting for analyzing the dynamic behavior of the system and for designing the control strategy. The proposed global model is simulated with the help of Matlab-Simulink ™ , by considering a 4.5 kW wind generator and a 3.6 kW solar generator. This hybrid system is connected to a distribution network which is simulated with the help of the Power System Blockset ™ (PSB) toolbox.
