Study on the Feasibility of a NB-IoT Receiver Using N-Path Circuits

Résumé

A system approach for wideband receivers is studied and the possibility to use N-path circuits for filtering and mixing is evaluated in this article. The influence of Out-of-Band (OB) blockers is then added to the receiver system study. N-path circuit theory is then studied and analytical expressions are derived. Finally, N-path circuits are simulated in 28nm CMOS technology to address the receiver specifications.
