Linguistique intégrationniste et histoire sémiotique des mathématiques
Integrationist linguistics and semiotic history of mathematics
Résumé
This article presents and discusses integrationist linguistics (Roy Harris). It begins by recalling the characterization of the 'language myth', the criticisms addressed to it and the integrationist principles proposed to answer them. The integrationist theses and arguments are then confronted with the results of several studies of the semiotic history of mathematics. The clarification of the effectiveness of the integrationist criticisms allows us to reconsider the consequences drawn from them.
