Colloidal Molecules and Colloidal Polymers

Résumé

The synthesis of colloidal molecules and colloidal polymers is a field that noted a real revolution enabled by recent breakthroughs. A large arsenal of methods for fabricating these novel colloidal entities has been developed, enabling us to potentially use them as building blocks to fabricate tomorrow's functional materials. In this chapter, we discuss the most relevant strategies reported for creating colloidal molecules and colloidal polymers by self-assembly of preformed particles.
