NOTE TO LUCAN, BELLVM CIVILE 1.599–604
Résumé
This paper is a study of 6 lines of Lucan’s Bellum Ciuile where the poet describes a procession being held as part of the procuratio prodigiorum. It aims to renew the consideration of some readings adopted by most editors: it will lead to propose three changes to the text edited by Shackleton Bailey, by conjecture, by choice of another manuscript reading and by the use of obeli for a presumed locus desperatus.
