Sound emission from a 2-D thick turbulent boundary layer flow past an elongated cavity
Résumé
Aeroacoustics generated by a thick turbulent boundary layer in a cavity flow is studied. The thick boundary layer produces strong shear in the cavity and at the downstream of the cavity, it modifies the flow dynamics and the distribution of the sound sources. The analysis of aeroacoustics, using Curle's acoustic analogy model allows the characteristics of sound propagation
