Casualità dei mondi, e della storia Attualità della poesia materialista di Lucrezio
Résumé
In De Rerum Natura, the great associations between atoms are unstable and cannot last. As things move, meaninglessly and in an infinite vacuum, they violently collide with each other, causing everything to unravel. In this article, we ask whether Lucretius also offers us ways of 'practising' catastrophe. The hypothesis we formulate here is that the choice of poetry constitutes a 'practice' of this worldview.
