Molecular s-Block Catalysts for Alkene Hydrophosphination and Related Reactions
Résumé
In the past 15 years, alkaline earth complexes built around calcium, strontium, and barium have been implemented in the area of hydrophosphonylation, hydrophosphinylation, and intermolecular alkene hydrophosphination homogeneous catalysis. The main advances achieved in the past decade are surveyed here. Alkene intermolecular hydrophosphination has by far attracted the largest share of the efforts from the scientific community. An up-to-date description of the available alkaline earth precatalysts is provided. Their respective performances are detailed and, where possible, compared.
