Seeing and (Not) Being Seen : how visibility has influenced the development of Paris in the late XVIII th century

Urban architecture shows the way of life and the organization of society. Historical data and immaterial heritage go hand in hand ; th ey could be gathered in digital humanities for transversal and multidisciplinary researches to study landscape and architecture, especially with the Geographic Information System. This collaborative tool coud build a 3Dimensional representation of views where anyone could add and share documents on data base. Points of view and scenography are the principal reasons to understand architectures, especially for Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (1706-1806) who is the major architect of the Enlightenment.
L'architecture urbaine témoigne du mode de vie et de l'organisation de la société. Les données historiques et le patrimoine immatériel vont de pair ; ils pourraient être rassemblés dans les humanités numériques pour des recherches transversales et multidisciplinaires afin d'étudier le paysage et l'architecture, notamment avec le Système d'Information Géographique. Cet outil collaboratif permet de construire une représentation tridimensionnelle des vues où chacun peut ajouter et partager des documents sur la base de données. Les points de vue et la scénographie sont les principales raisons de comprendre les architectures, notamment pour Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (1706-1806) qui est l'architecte majeur du siècle des Lumières.
