Commentaire dans la traduction ou la visibilité du traducteur-chercheur -Étude de quelques traductions françaises d'oeuvres littéraires chinoises modernes
Résumé
If translations of ancient texts often use commentaries, contemporary works are less subject to this practice. However, some translations give more space to translators. Besides prefaces long or short, translators comment generously their translations in the form of footnotes. Since translation necessarily involves choices, translator's commentaries take part in this intellectual process. By dint of their commentaries, translators are not hidden behind works, refuse invisibility and want to be critics. In fulfilling this act, translators are just researchers. This article will focus on the paratexts and footnotes found in some French translations made by specialists of Chinese contemporary literal works. By examining the translator's visibility through analysis of his speech, we try to shed light on researcher's contribution to translation.
