The Pulse Project: a framework for supervising data exchanges in an IoT system
Résumé
This article describes our work in the supervision of data exchange in a IoT information systems. Traditional monitoring approaches and tools do not allow to apprehend the volume, speed and variety of alerts generated. Among these locks impacting service continuity, out work addresses the internal supervision of a distributed information system. In this work, we address the collection, modelling and processing of data in order to analyse and identify the evolution of the system architecture and the problems that may arise. The proposed framework supports various data exchange protocols, including AMQP and MQTT. It allows to navigate in the proposed structure, to query and visualize the architecture. Thanks to this framework, architecture problems can be identified. We have implemented the approach and tested it on different systems, including RabbitMQ. The next step will be to implement it for ROS.
