La notion d'accomplissement ches Levinas
Résumé
This article intends to study the notion of fulfillment in Levinas, utilizing in part the unpublished works of the author, where this notion appears as a keyword of his philosophy. On the one hand, it is a matter of highlighting the double filia-tion of this term, at the same time phenomenological and “theological”: it mani-fests itself as an extension of the Husserlian notion of intuitive fullfilment to the entire existence and as a resumption of the hermeneutical and theological notion of figural interpretation. On the other hand, by showing how Levinas applies the structure symbol-fulfillment to the existence, envisaged in its double dynamism of position and participation, this article intends to emphasize the importance – but also the difficulties – of the notion of history in his philosophy.
