From waste to pure H2: Advanced electrolysis technologies

Résumé

The main objective of this work is to develop a radically new scientific approach for the valorization of plastic wastes. The idea is to electrochemically transform plastic wastes into pure H2, the green energy vector for a sustainable world. Our main scientific breakthroughs deal with understanding and enhancing the kinetics of the electrochemical oxidation of model polymers in low temperature electrolyzers
